How it works:

1. Crochet any granny square you'd like. (Fancy, Hole-y, The OG, a brand new one no one has ever seen before, surprise us!)

Granny Square Day was conceptualised in 2014 by crochet whizz Susan Regalia, who used Instagram's former grid layout to create a virtual blanket. Since then, she handed the reins over to Simply Crochet, and we've been carrying the torch ever since.
