    HC Art Galleries

    Experience the arts at Hillsborough College! Explore our newest exhibition by Sam Modder entitled "May Your Life Be Easy" on view in Gallery114@HC, with a poetry reading scheduled from 6-7 p.m. during the Arts Tour.

    Sky Puppy Brewing

    Sky Puppy Brewing presents an exhibition by Tampa-based artist Aneka Ingold, whose work blends surreal narrative, realism, and pattern to explore the complexities of the female experience. Using mixed media techniques that merge drawing and painting, Ingold creates imagery that is both alluring and psychologically charged, inviting viewers into intimate, ambiguous worlds. Join for an evening of art, with options of sipping crafted beer, and a lovely natural wine experience.

    Hotel Haya: Valencia Foyer

    Hotel Haya presents Open Doors to History by Mario Pérez, in partnership with Hillsborough College.

    Pérez’s striking series of urban landscapes pays tribute to the immigrants who built the “Cigar Capital of the World” and to the architecture that holds the city’s memory. Created with mixed media on unique surfaces, including salvaged doors from homes impacted by the 2024 hurricane, his work invites viewers to step through a symbolic gateway of resilience, history, and cultural restoration.

    Mario Javier Pérez Salabarría is a Cuban-born artist and writer who came to the United States in 2004. With a background in Architecture and Art Teaching in Cuba, and later a Master’s in Guidance Counseling in the U.S., Pérez has built a career that bridges art, education, and community. Currently serving as an Assistant Dean at Hillsborough College while pursuing his Doctorate in Education at USF, he continues to create works that honor heritage and history while inspiring cultural connection.

    Tempus presents:
    ALL I EVER WANT IS JUST TO FALL INTO YOUR HUMAN HANDS, a juried group exhibition of works inspired by or engaging artificial intelligence.

    Featuring Ariel Baron-Robbins Lapciuc, Carolyn Lambert, Christopher Meerdo, Hannah Newman, John O’Donnell, Diana Sosnowska, and Spencer Vomacka. Juried by Adda Farcus (USF), Christopher Jones (Ringling Museum), and Joanna Robotham (Tampa Museum of Art).

    Reverb Gallery

    From 6-9 p.m., Reverb Gallery will host the opening reception for Listening for Grey Catbirds Again, an exhibition featuring works by Anna Hemmerich and Vinh Huynh that explore childhood memories. Inspired by the migratory patterns of grey catbirds returning north in spring, both artists revisit early experiences through color, material, and personal imagery.

    Coalition of Hispanic Artists

    CHA Gallery is a space dedicated to share and celebrate Hispanic art through intimate solo and collective exhibitions. During the Ybor Arts Tour, experience “Birthday Blues: A House of Becoming,” where Dominican artist Haydee Taveras shares her journey into adulthood through personal narratives and domestic imagery, revealing how her home becomes central to the formation of womanhood. Haydee Taveras will be present at the gallery offering visitors the opportunity to engage directly with the artist and her work, deepening the experience of connecting with the cultural stories shared at CHA Gallery.

    Art Noire Gallery promotes and showcases blk contemporary art from around the world, through highly curated member-based experiences. We believe in providing a platform for emerging blk artists to build community and create a welcoming space for art enthusiasts and collectors alike.

    Pop Yarn

    Pop Yarn is Tampa's local yarn store! Pop Yarn focuses on local and domestic artisanal yarn and accessories, featuring a variety of high-quality, all natural, sustainable materials, including wool, cotton, cashmere, alpaca, silk, and other all-natural fibers. Pop Yarn is open regularly at the Kress Building: Thurs and Fri 1 - 6 p.m., and Sat 12 - 4 p.m.

    Florida Museum of Photographic Arts

    Celebrating 25 years, the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts hosts its landmark Annual Members’ Exhibition, showcasing diverse talent in an exhibit of everything from portraits to conceptual works. Visitors can also experience Dimpy Bhalotia: Small Lens, Big World, an amazing collection of cinematic street photography captured entirely on a smartphone. This exhibition bridges the gap between professional artistry and everyday creativity, inviting guests to explore world-class imagery in the heart of the Tampa Bay art scene.

    Brian Leach, known as WestBuk, is an Ybor-based artist whose work features intense color, raw emotion, and vivid storytelling. LA, Vegas, and Portland-bred, WestBuk now welcomes visitors to his independent Ybor studio for a behind-the-scenes view of his unique creative practice.
