POSSESSED! Curse of the Kress returns to Ybor City for another building-wide Halloween takeover of Kress Contemporary.

Friday, October 9 | 8–11 PM

For one night, the galleries, theaters, studios, hallways, and hidden corners of the Kress come alive with art, music, performances, stories, and a few things that go bump in the night. Kress Contemporary, Tempus Projects, Palimpsest Book Studio, and others will fill the building with haunts and happenings to discover as you make your way from floor to floor.

This year’s hauntings include:

• Dead Man’s (Dance) Party — DJs Medusa and Poolboy keep the dearly departed dancing at Tempus Projects.

• Tarot Readings — Peer into your future with tarot readings in Tempus Projects’ Flash Gallery.

• Palimpsest’s Vampire Library — Step into a gothic library of spooky story readings, costumed bibliophiles, and blind-book giveaways featuring pre-wrapped horror books.

• Halloween Photo Booth — Immortalize your costume with portraits by Dave Decker Photography.

• Kress Contemporary Galleries — Explore exhibitions throughout the building after dark, with unexpected encounters lurking along the way.

• More Hauntings TBA — Artists, performers, and community partners will be taking over the Kress’s nooks and crannies with their own strange contributions to the night.

Come in costume, bring your friends, wander our haunted halls for tricks and treats at your own risk.
