You Again and Me for the First Time is a collection of monuments to the ephemeral.
Becca Wahl, Kristen Roles, and Tatiana Mesa Paján (BKT Collective) trace transience through iterative and site-specific bodies (a net cast to catch forgotten things, ritual notations on the gallery wall, time marked with hair, a billowing accordion of phone pictures); readymades (spectral synchronicities in TV screens and shells, a broken horse leg); and fugitive installations (unstable images in light, sand, skin).
The artists seek connection in uncertainty, locate strength in porosity, and ask questions of community praxis through an intimate gaze.
