Hours of Operation
Kress Contemporary is occupied by several galleries, nonprofits, small businesses and individual artists, which hold their own hours of operation. We would suggest you reach out to specific venues to confirm their hours before arriving. Thursdays are a great day to visit the Kress! Most venues are open from noon to 8pm. We are proud to offer several events, year-round with free admission to galleries and public events.
Individual venues may be closed in observance of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans’ Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Please confirm hours before your visit

Getting Here
Kress Contemporary is located at 1624 E 7th Ave in Ybor City. There is paid off-street parking on 7th Ave and surrounding streets, as well as various paid public lots. The closest lot is located at 1779 E 8th Ave. The free TECO Streetcar stops a block away at the Centro Ybor Station (#2) stop. Arriving by carpool or ride share is another great option!
ADA Accessible Entrance
The public lobby with a wheelchair-accessible elevator at Kress Contemporary is located 1624 E 7th Ave. Our entire facility is accessible via wheelchair including our third-floor studios, which are also accessible via elevator.
The closest wheelchair-accessible curb ramp providing a route for our visitors and patrons is located on the corner of 7th Ave and 17th St, approximately 40ft from our main entrance.
Service Animals
The Americans with Disabilities Act defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. These service animals are welcomed in all indoor and outdoor spaces at Kress Contemporary.
